Sella Ronda Trek: a 4–5 day loop around the Sella massif with overnights at Rifugio Boè, Pisciadù and Vajolet — Dolomites' compact classic.
The Sella Ronda is famous as a ski circuit, but the summer walking version is one of the best short Dolomites loops. Four to five days circling the Sella massif — Boè, Piz Pordoi, Pisciadù — with the Marmolada to the south and the Vajolet towers to the west.
It's perfect for a long weekend: each day is 4–6 hours, the huts are friendly and well-equipped, and you can flex the loop with cable cars when the weather turns.
Cable car up to Sass Pordoi, then walk over Piz Boè to the rifugio.
Short, scenic day over Forcella Pisciadù.
Descend to Passo Sella, then climb across the Catinaccio to the Vajolet basin.
Last day — the iconic Vajolet towers, then a long descent to Canazei.
